Hi,
Our names are Michelle and David Booth. We are very proud of our cattery and work very hard to ensure that our cattery is spotless.
We encourage prospective adoptive parents to visit and view all the Rags r Us Ragdoll family. We think you’ll love them!
Our Ragdolls are bred from true foundation stock that arrived in Australia in the late 1980’s. We started our adventure with Raggies 10 years ago
when we adopted our first one and have been in love with the breed ever since……how could we not be!
Our Raggies are quiet and unassuming and thrive on companionship. They have the most beautiful looks too – we think
they are “purrfection with purrsonality”. They are a very placid and relaxed breed which gives rise to the floppiness that gives
them the name RAGDOLL.
We are what we are today because of a wonderful lady in NSW, Gai Maran of Regalis / Rainbow Rag Ragdolls. Gai gave us a golden opportunity to continue to
breed this beautiful creature and offers wonderful support in everything we do – thanks Gai.
We are GCCFSA & FASA registered breeders and register our kittens under the Rags r Us prefix. We abide by the code of ethics of these
organizations and are very proud of this.
Why buy your new kitten from
registered breeder?
Purebred kittens are like designer
handbags. Sounds crazy but it's
true. We all know that there is the
authentic designer bag then there
are the cheap knock offs. The real
designer bags are hand crafted, made
with care and attention to detail.
They are good quality and you know
you are getting what you pay for,
the real thing! Cheap knock offs are
slapped together in sweatshops from
substandard materials. They appear
similar to the real thing but look
closely and it is clear they are
just an imitation. Sadly they often
don't last as long as the real deal
because they are not well made.
It is the same with registered
purebred kittens.
A kitten from a registered breeder
comes with a pedigree that proves it
is the breed they say it is.
Unregistered breeders just breed
cats that look like the real thing.
The only difference between kittens
and designers bags (aside from the
fur!) is that kittens from
registered breeders don't cost more.
In some cases they cost less
especially when they have
vaccinations, microchipping and
desexing included in the price.
Registered breeders follow the
standards set by their associations
and breed for love not money.
So buyer beware. Don't make the
mistake of buying your kitten from
an unregistered breeder. Why have a
cheap knock off when you can have
the real thing?"
